A Sri Lankan minister blamed poor team spirit for the humiliating loss, the team’s worst ODI defeat.
Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said he was ‘horrified’ with Sri Lanka’s defeat. “You can understand a loss, but not something like this,” he said. “We’re appalled. Something has to be done immediately. It is as if there is no team spirit among players. It is appaling.”
