Protest In Balochistan: Lawyers condemn murder of Warraich

Hearings were adjourned till next date.

QUETTA: Lawyers boycotted court proceedings across Balochistan in protest against the killing of senior lawyer Nasrullah Warraich in Lahore. The strike was observed in response to a call given by the Supreme Court Bar Association. The courts in Quetta were deserted since lawyers did not appear there or before local magistrates. Hearings were adjourned till next date. In a statement President of BBA Dawood Kasi and senior lawyer Baz Mohammad Kakar condemned the killing of Warraich and urged the government and law-enforcing agencies to arrest the culprits behind this killing.
