LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the chief secretary to uphold merit in deciding the case of a Yellow Cab Scheme applicant allegedly discriminated against by the government because of her father’s association with Pakistan Peoples Party. The court had earlier given the chief secretary two weeks to look into Hina Ehtisham’s plea that her application for a yellow cab had been rejected because of her father’s political affiliation.
