Boxing: ‘I’ll knock Vitali down in the 8th round’

“Vitali is going down in the eighth round,” said Chisora.

Britain’s Dereck Chisora has vowed to knock Vitali Klitschko out in the eighth round to claim the veteran Ukrainian’s WBC heavyweight crown, according to the BBC.

Chisora’s plans to fight Wladimir Klitschko were scuppered by injury to the IBF, WBA and WBO champion, and he faces Vitali in Munich on February 18. “Vitali is going down in the eighth round,” said Chisora. “He just won’t know what’s coming – I’m coming to take what is his and make it mine. Everybody is tired of Vitali and his brother, because they don’t bring excitement to the game. They’ve killed the sport I love. It’s time for the new king, and that’ll be me.”
