Balochistan Move: Civil servant fired over illegal extension
Chairman BDA Sadaat had retired a month ago but issued a notification, extending his own tenure for another year.

The Balochistan chief secretary has removed a high-ranking civil servant over granting an extension to himself after his retirement as Chairman Balochistan Development Authority (BDA).
Chief Secretary Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri took notice of the issue when he was informed that Chairman BDA Anwar Sadaat had retired a month ago but he issued a notification, extending his own tenure for another year. Lehri consulted the law department over the issue. He later removed Sadaat for misconduct and gross violation of service rules. The charge of the post has been handed over to the additional chief secretary.
