Rescued in vain: Baby dolphin dies of cardiac arrest
A total of 30 dolphins died last year and this was the first one of 2012.

A baby dolphin died of cardiac arrest after it was rescued from the Abul Wah Canal near Khairpur on Friday morning. According to the deputy wildlife conservator of Sukkur, Ghulam Mohammad Gadani, the baby dolphin was six months old, measured three feet and weighed 12 kilogrammes. It had ventured into the canal looking for food. A total of 30 dolphins died last year and this was the first one of 2012.
