Dengue Fever: Virus claims another life

Hakim Ali, a 65-year old resident of Hanjarwal, died of dengue fever in Jinnah Hospital on Friday. Jinnah Hospital deputy medical superintendent Dr Jaffar told The Express Tribune that Ali had passed away on Thursday but they had waited till Friday so that a report could confirm cause of death. He said the patient had been brought to the hospital a week ago. Secretary Health Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan has ordered the fogging and spray be completed to control dengue before February 10.
