Cricket: Yuvraj to be fit for Australia tri-series
"I have completely recovered and have been training for the last two weeks," said Yuvraj.
NEW DELHI:
India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh said he would be fit for the tri-series in Australia after recovering from a non-malignant lung tumour. "I have completely recovered and have been training for the last two weeks," said Yuvraj. "I am able to run hard and my lung capacity is back." Yuvraj's family revealed in November that the all-rounder had been battling a golf-ball sized non-malignant lung tumour which first affected him during India's triumphant World Cup campaign, for which he was named man of the tournament. India will compete with Australia and Sri Lanka in the triangular One-Day International series starting February.
