It’s truly the season of celebrity engagements, with actor Drew Barrymore, Jessica Biel and singer Justin Timberlake the latest ones joining the growing ranks.
Barrymore is the latest star to sport a ring, getting betrothed to her art consultant beau of nearly one year, Will Kopelman, reports E!online.
The 34-year-old Kopelman popped the question while the duo was on a 10-day vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho, though no further details on the proposal — including when exactly it took place — were available. As for details of the bauble, the D-color, radiant-cut ring is just under four carats and surrounded by a diamond band. This will mark the third trip down the aisle for the 36-year-old, who was previously married to Tom Green (for five months in 2001) and Jeremy Thomas (for just one month in 1994).
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
Additonally, singer Justin Timberlake and on-again off-again actor girlfriend Jessica Biel have reportedly got engaged after he proposed to her during the holidays.
The 30-year-old proposed to Biel, 27, last month during a pre-Christmas break in Jackson, US, after they reunited following a three-month split. According to People magazine, the joyous moment included a custom-designed ring.
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick
Last month, Britney Spears also revealed she is ready to live happily ever after with Jason Trawick. The pop superstar, 30, is engaged to her former manager. Trawick popped the question on his 40th birthday, when he and the singer shared a romantic private dinner.
Aretha Franklin and Willie
Meanwhile, lately singer Aretha Franklin got engaged to her long-time boyfriend William ‘Willie’ Wilkerson. “We’re looking at June or July for our date,” contactmusic.com quoted Franklin as saying.
Franklin has been married twice before — once to her former manager Ted White, during the 1960s, while her marriage to actor Glynn Turman ended in 1984 after five years of being together. (With additional information from IANS and E!Online)
