Hashmanis Medical and Welfare Association is holding a free eye and glaucoma check-up camp on January 7.
KARACHI:
To offer a helping hand for those suffering from eye infections or diseases Hashmanis Medical and Welfare Association is holding a free eye and glaucoma check-up camp on January 7 at Hashmanis Hospital on MA Jinnah Road. “Glaucoma is group of eye disorders that have few symptoms in their early stages but eventually leads to damage of the optic nerve resulting in loss of side vision or blindness,” said the chairman of Hashmanis Hospital, Dr Shareef Hashmani. “Treatment for the condition usually includes prescription eye- drops, in some cases surgery or both.”
