Eight out of a total of 26 mortgaged Venus Housing Scheme plots were auctioned on Thursday for Rs22.4 million by the Lahore Development Authority. The auction was held at the Lahore Development Authority’s community centre in New Muslim Town. The auction committee comprised the directors of the authority’s Finance, Estate Management and Land Development. Auction for the remaining plots had to be postponed after no bid was received for them.
