Golf: Woods praises ‘consistent’ Donald
Tiger Woods has identified Luke Donald as the player to beat in 2012.
LONDON:
Former world number one Tiger Woods has identified Luke Donald as the player to beat in 2012. The 14-time Major winner will be competing at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship from January 26 in a bid to get the new season off to a bright start. However, Woods is aware of the stiff competition that lies ahead, including the threat posed by current world number one Donald. “There are a lot of golfers who have had a great couple of years and many young guys who will be looking to keep us older guys at bay,” said Woods. “Donald has been fantastically consistent.”
