Hand grenade attack injures 12 in Quetta

Unknown men attack a shop near the area of Joint Road in Quetta.

QUETTA: At least twelve people were injured in a hand grenade attack in a shop near the area of Joint Road in Quetta.

According to police officials, unknown men attacked the shop with hand grenade which injured people who were present there. The wounded have been shifted to the hospital.

The blast also caused damage to other shops in the vicinity.

Police and FC forces soon arrived at the spot and started investigation.

Earlier on Saturday night, at least five people were wounded in a hand grenade attack in Hub, industrial town of Balochistan.

According to reports, a police mobile was passing from Sirat Chowk when unidentified armed men hurled a hand grenade at it. The grenade exploded with a huge blast injuring three policemen and two passersby.
