Caught: Two men killed in police encounter
The police claim that the suspects opened fire at them and other people in front of the shop.
KARACHI:
An unidentified suspect was killed in an encounter with the police near Nagan Chowrangi on Sunday, said the Taimuria police. Around five of his accomplices were successful at escaping while he was caught after robbing a shopkeeper and killing a man. The police claim that the suspects opened fire at them and other people in front of the shop. Manzoor Ghauri, was shot at and injured by the suspects. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. They said that he was from Bufferzone. After an exchange of gunshots, the police asked the other men to surrender but they did not. They added that two of the suspects were injured and taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
