To the ballots: PML-N to elect Shah as president today

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to reorganise the party in Sindh.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to reorganise the party in Sindh by re-electing Ghous Ali Shah as president. According to sources in PML-N, said that party elections for the Sindh Council are scheduled to take place on Monday (today) at a hotel. PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to attend. While talking to The Express Tribune, a senior party leader said that there was a lot of resentment in the province under Saleem Zia as president and the party seemed to have divided into two groups. He added that the PML-N leadership had also decided to nominate Ghous Ali Shah for the slot of president. Shah was chief minister of Sindh from 1985 to 1988.
