Volleyball: DI Khan clinch championship in Bannu
Peshawar raced into a 2-0 lead after claiming the opening two sets 25-20 and 25-19.

Dera Ismail (DI) Khan upset defending champions Peshawar in the final of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Inter-Regional Volleyball Championship played at the Bannu Sports Complex yesterday. Peshawar raced into a 2-0 lead after claiming the opening two sets 25-20 and 25-19. However, DI Khan posted a strong recovery to clinch the third set 27-25 and also won the fourth set by the same score to level the tie. In the deciding set, DI Khan wasted no time as they dismissed Peshawar 15-12 to clinch the trophy.
