Apple iPad launch problems

Express April 06, 2010

CONNECTICUT:

Apple has sold more than 300,000 iPads on the tablet computer's first day in stores. But some new owners have complained that their iPad have little or no wi-fi signal.

A group-edited technology blog has reported "scores of complaints" on Apple forums.

Computer experts have warned that without access to the internet "the iPad is useless.

Some suggest that the problem could be a weak wi-fi antenna, which is located behind the logo on the back of the iPad.

Apple has not commented on the complaints yet.
