Pp-18 By-Election: 14 contestants file nomination papers
The election is scheduled to be held on February 6.

As many as 14 candidates have filed their nomination papers for by-election in PP-18 Attock-IV constituency, said election commission officials on Saturday. According to sources, five contestants, Raja Afzaal Sapyal, Amna Khalid, Malik Sameen Khan, Attaul Mustafa Jameel and Malik Arshad Nawaz belong to the PPP, while Malik Muhammad Azam and Malik Muhammad Ali belong to the PML-N. The remaining seven candidates, Malik Amanat Khan, Muhammad Ashraf, Zubair Khan, Muhammad Saleem, Shehzad Iqbal Butt, Bashir Ahmed and Muhammad Aslam Sheikh are contesting the election independently, said sources. Their nomination papers will be scrutinised on January 2, while the last date to file an appeal against a nomination is January 6. The election is scheduled to be held on February 6.
