A man was killed on Saturday only four hours to the New Year in Nain Suk, on the outskirts of the city.
Bhara Kahu police said Muhammad Waseem, 32, was found dead in a room of his house. The investigation officer said he was attacked with a sharp blade or knife.
In a road accident, Shah Diwan, 25, was hit by a speeding car near KRL Chowk on Islamabad Expressway. He suffered serious injuries and died in Pims. Police said a case was registered against the unidentified driver of the car.
