Businessmen sign deals worth millions
LAHORE:
A 20-member LCCI delegation to Italy and Spain Monday returned home with a rich bonanza of business deals worth millions of rupees. The delegates also signed a number of agreements with their Italian and Spanish counterparts in the sectors including wind power generation, pharmaceutical, construction sectors and textile made-ups.
During the meetings at Pakistani missions in Italy and Spain, LCCI Executive Committee Member, Mohammad Haroon urged the Commercial Attaches to facilitate the business community of Pakistan by providing latest market intelligence reports so that the exports of Pakistan can be enhanced to maximum level.
The delegation had one to one business meetings with the potential Italian and Spanish counterparts and visited their manufacturing units. The delegation also visited the Italian markets for having firsthand knowledge about the available opportunities there.
The businessmen at Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, having membership of 500,000 businesses, expressed their readiness to extend maximum technical support to their Pakistani counterparts.
