Soomro replaced as PPP VC

President received complaints about Soomro during his stay in Naudero on December 26 and 27 and decided to remove him.

Acting upon the complaints regarding corruption of billions of rupees in the funds of Larkana Development Package, President Asif Ali Zardari sacked the chairman of Sindh Peoples Development Committee, Shafqat Soomro, who was also the senior vice president of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Larkana chapter.



The president received complaints about Soomro during his stay in Naudero on December 26 and 27 and decided to remove him and order a high level inquiry against him. Former PPP MNA Sardar Hizbullah Bughio, replaces Soomro as the senior vice president of the PPP Larkana chapter.

When The Express Tribune contacted Bughio, he said that he didn’t know what happened. He said Faryal Talpur called him to the President Camp Office in Naudero and gave the notification of my appointment.
