Cricket: Abbottabad triumph in under-16 event
Abbottabad defeated Quetta in the final of the PCB-Pepsi U-16 One-Day Cricket Tournament.

Abbottabad defeated Quetta in the final of the PCB-Pepsi U-16 One-Day Cricket Tournament 2011 to lift the trophy and take home the Rs200,000 prize-money. Quetta elected to bat first and were bowled out for 125 in just 36.4 overs. Abbottabad’s Faizan Ali claimed four for 39, while Asad Khail picked up three for 18. In reply, Abbottabad chased down the target easily for the loss of three wickets and with 21 balls to spare. Mazhar top-scored with 39, while Mirullah Saeed picked up three wickets for Quetta. Ali was declared man of the match for his superb performance.
