Alex Corretja will speak to Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer in an attempt to change their decision.
Spain’s new Davis Cup captain Alex Corretja will speak to Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer in an attempt to change their decision to stop playing in the competition, according to espn.co.uk. World number two Nadal and Ferrer announced their intention to stop participating in the competition due to fatigue. “My duty as captain is to talk to all players and coaches,” he said. “Neither player has told me they won’t play. This is only what they said in the press. If they feel they have to rest, I’ll try to make the best possible team.”
