Cricket: Malik opts for Dhaka league after snub
Overlooked for Test squad, former captain will feature in BPL.
KARACHI:
After being overlooked for the Test series against England that starts from January 17, former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has opted to keep himself busy by featuring in the Dhaka Premier League after being given the all-clear by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to a PCB official, the all-rounder has been issued the required NOC for the event and is likely to depart today.
Malik, according to the official, will return to Pakistan next month in order to take part in the Pentangular Cup and will also be available for Pakistan duty if selected for the limited-overs leg of the series against England.
