Resignation: Niazi leaves PML-N
PML-N member Inamullah Khan Niazi resigned his party membership.

PML-N member Inamullah Khan Niazi resigned his party membership on Wednesday. However, he said he was not joining the PTI. He said he would take a decision about his future after consulting his constituents. Niazi said he had resigned in protest against the leadership’s attitude towards people like Javed Hashmi, Ahsan Iqbal and Tehmina Daultana. He said he had predicted the rise of PTI and the threat it could pose to the PML-N during a meeting with Nawaz Sharif in 2006.
