ADELAIDE: Rana Naved and Xavier Doherty combined to give Hobart Hurricanes a deserved 14-run win over Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. Doherty captured four for 17 while Naved bagged two for 37, including a wicket in his first over, to limit the Strikers to 157 for eight off their quota, chasing 172 to win. Earlier, significant contribution from the top-order allowed the Hurricanes to put up a decent total. Owais Shah rounded off the innings with an 18-ball 36 to give his side the confidence that assured them maximum points.
