Army concluded their Pakistan Premier Football League campaign in third after defeating PIA 1-0 in Islamabad yesterday. Following a dull first half, Army’s Mohammad Ikram scored the winner in the 68th minute. With the win, Army ended with 57 points from 30 matches, whereas PIA finished the season in seventh place with 49 points. Meanwhile, the last match of the league to be contested between leaders KRL and Wapda, which was originally to be held today, has been rescheduled for tomorrow.
