Football: Coaching course for women launched

The 14-day course is being conducted by former Pakistan men’s team coach Tariq Lutfi.

KARACHI:
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has kicked off the second Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Certificate Coaching Course for Women in Lahore with 18 participants. The 14-day course is being conducted by former Pakistan men’s team coach Tariq Lutfi, while the country’s first AFC license B woman coach Kiran Ilyas will serve as his assistant. PFF Secretary Ahmed Yar Khan said that the course would give confidence to women coaches, equipping them with latest knowledge in order to supplement ongoing efforts for the overall promotion of the game.
