Qadeer was a resident of Turbat and had been kidnapped a few months ago.
QUETTA:
A bullet riddled body of missing persons was found dumped in Murgap area of Turbat city, about 900-kilometer south of the provincial capital, on Tuesday.
According to an official of Balochistan Levies, some passers-by spotted the body lying near Murgap, a deserted area, and informed the nearby Balochistan Levies. Levies personnel then shifted the body to a nearby hospital for autopsy where he was identified as Gulam Qader, son of Doshamby, a resident of Nasirabad, Turbat.
Qader had been kidnapped from his home in Nasirabad a few months ago. “The victim was shot in the head and chest, causing instant death,” doctors at the hospital said.
Incidents of kidnapping and their dead bodies turning up have increased in recent months. Parliamentarians have raised their voice over such incidents of kidnapping for ransom and murder, but have yet to see constructive government action to stem this trend.
