Badminton: Hidayat clinches Indian Open

Former world champion Taufik Hidayat walked away with the men’s crown at the Yonex-Sunrise Syed Modi Memorial India Open Grand Prix Gold badminton championship, beating Saurabh Verma in the final. Hidayat’s experience turned out to be too much for the 20-year-old to handle. The Indonesian showed his class to carve out a 21-15, 21-18 win.
