Our digital birdie told us that this year’s December 25 brought happiness to people from both side of the globe for different reasons.
Many of the Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities jetted off to exotic places to celebrate the holiday season. Celeb tweets revolved around prayers of enlightenment and Christmas delicacies and most importantly, around how everyone is praying for the generous Santa’s visit to town.
On the other hand, Pakistan celebrates the birth of Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Quaid-e-Azam) as well as Christmas on December 25. However, this time around, Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf hosted a larger-than-life political rally at Quaid’s mausoleum. Thousands of emotionally driven Pakistanis converged at the mausoleum to support PTI’s promise of justice.
