Theft: Car snatched at gunpoint

A man stopped the victim to inquire about directions on the middle of the road.

ISLAMABAD:
Four armed robbers deprived a man of his car in Ghauri Town in Rawalpindi on Saturday. Munir Ahmed, a resident of Farooq Azam Road, lodged a complaint with the New Town police that he was on his way home when a man stopped him to inquire about directions. As soon as he stopped his car, the man took out a gun and ordered to open the door. The armed man ordered him to go to Khanna Pul, where three other men carrying weapons were waiting for them. He said the robbers blindfolded him and threw him outside the car. They drove away in his car after snatching cash, CNIC and employment card.
