According to reports, unknown men attacked a PTI office on the Indus National High way where they opened indiscriminate firing on the office and then entered it.
President PTI Taunsa said that the assailants had taken with them computers, costly equipment, record books of members and other official records from the office.
They also tore and burnt PTI flags.
PTI workers protested against the attack and raised slogans against the government.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged in the local police station against unknown persons. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shakeel Ahmed Hotani assured PTI officials and workers that the criminals would be arrested soon.
“We have been investigating and have collected some evidence from the site to trace the criminals and will soon present the final report,” Hotani said.
Taunsa has always been considered as a hub of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Ans: Who else but Mian brothers, due to the successful jalsa of PTI at Minar-e-Pakistan on 30/10/2011. Check Mian brothers "IQ" that they did not even check the due date for the property tax. Let me give you examples of Nawaz's style of politics. Sarfraz Nawaz(crickter) became MPA(Punjab) in 1985. He was beaten up about 150 yards from his residence in New Muslim Town,Lahore for talking about Nawaz Sharif's(God forgive wanted to be Ameer-ul-momineen) corruption as CM,Punjab. Their famous Ittefaq group never had any labour union because labour leaders of Ittefaq group never lived long enough. Javed Hashmi has openned the flood gates by leaving PML(N) and has shown the other PML(N) politicians the way. PTI's Karachi Jalsa is another factor. I challenge PML(N) to have a jalsa as big as PTI anywhere in Pakistan but in Punjab(No Patwari or SHO Jalsa's of Punjab Please). Mian brothers just dont know what to do anymore just like Zardari. Gives you a hint or should I go on and on.So please dont say that PML(N) or Mian brothers have nothing to do with this attack.
