Murder: Farmer shot while watering fields

FAISALABAD: A farmer was shot and killed in the Sitiana police station precincts on Saturday. According to the police, Chak No 272GB resident Khizr Hayat was watering his fields when a group of unidentified assailants shot him and fled the scene. The police took the body into custody and has sent it to the hospital for an autopsy. Police officials said that a case would be registered after the receipt of the autopsy report.
