11 militants killed, 8 injured in Upper Orakzai Agency
Security official says six targeted militant hideouts were destroyed.

Pakistani fighter jets attacked militant hideouts and killed 11 militants while eight others sustained injuries in Upper Orakzai Agency on Saturday.
Sources said that the operation against militants had been intensified and that the jets attacked six militant hideouts in the Mamuzai, Sami Bazar and Mir Kaleem Khel areas of the tribal agency.
The security officials said all of the six targeted militant hideouts were destroyed, adding that the areas attacked were once considered to be militant hubs and most of the areas were declared ‘clear’.
The officials said that the security forces were proceeding to clear the remaining parts of the agency.
Several militants have been killed and scores injured since targeted have been launched to clear Orakzai and Kurram agencies.
