Mastung Violence: Three killed due to firing in Mastung

Balochistan levies rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area.

At least three people were gunned down and two injured when a group of armed men opened fire on a car in Mastung, about 45-kilometres away from the provincial capital, on Thursday night. According to the Balochistan Levies officials, gunmen riding  motorcycles opened fire at a car in Deringer area. Three people were killed on the spot and two passers-by sustained injures. Balochistan levies rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area. The deceased and injured were taken to Civil Hospital Mastung, where the deceased were identified as Master Noroz Bangulzai, Nasar-ul-dine Raisani and  15-year-old Mohammad Umar. “The motive behind these killings is unknown. However,investigations are under way,” an official of Balochistan Levies official said.  Meanwhile, a man was shot dead by an unidentified person in Killi Jumma area of Dasht district of Mastung.. A case has been registered against the unidentified persons and investigation is under way.
