Blasphemy Allegations: SHC summons record of Zulfiqar Mirza’s complaint
The applicant maintained that the Kalakot SHO had defied a judge’s order.

Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi of the Sindh High Court summoned on Thursday the file of a private complaint filed by minister Rauf Siddqui, seeking the registration of an FIR against former minister Zulfiqar Mirza for his alleged blasphemous remarks.
The applicant maintained that the Kalakot SHO had defied a judge’s order, requiring him to register the case against Mirza. He said that the sub-ordinate court took no action and no FIR was registered. The bench called for record of the private complaint by January 5.
