Quetta fought back on day two of the Inter-Region U-23 tournament finishing on 172 for two, still 56 runs behind Hyderabad’s first-innings score of 228. Imran Khan starred for Quetta with an unbeaten 103. Earlier, Hyderabad resumed on 114 for one but fine bowling by Quetta saw them restricted to a modest total. In other matches, Multan were dismissed for 174, conceding a lead of 47 runs against Sialkot. Karachi were on top against Faisalabad bowling them out for 180 after having made 308.
