Stop playing ‘dirty games’, Sanaullah tells establishment
Punjab Law Minister says that the military's involvement in politics is the biggest threat to Pakistan's democracy.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Thursday said that the military establishment should stop playing "dirty games" which were "endangering the democratic set up of the country."
Sanaullah, who was speaking to the media outside Punjab Assembly, said that the involvement of the military in the making and breaking of political parties was a very big threat to Pakistan’s democracy.
He declared bad governance and corruption in the current Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government as the factor that would lead to a "total democracy wipe out in the country", but added that PML-N would resist such an action with the help of the media and an independent judiciary.
Talking about Nawaz Sharif's move towards Supreme Court to stop martial law, he said that only PML-N would be capable of stopping a martial law.
When asked about the ISPR's press release that refuted the DGISI's visit to the Arab states seeking support to remove President Asif Ali Zardari, he said that only the court could probe into that matter. He also added that following Husain Haqqani’s resignation, his friends should resign too.
