Rice husk & furnace oil: Wrong fuel at Naudero sugar mills causing pollution

A resident of Ghulam Hyder Narejo has written a letter to the managing director of the mill.

RATODERO:

Ratodero. The ash particles that are emitted from the chimneys of Naudero sugar mills are hazardous for the health of citizens living in villages nearby and also damage crops.

A resident of Ghulam Hyder Narejo has written a letter to the managing director of the mill saying that the problem did not exist till 1974. Previously, furnace oil was used in the boilers and there were no complaints. But now, rice husk is being used instead and it generates ash particles.
