Harassment: Notices issued to 3 policemen
FIRs for forcing the petitioner into a compromise with a party suspected of gunning down the petitioner’s brothers.

Notices were issued to three police officials, for December 22, on a petition seeking registration of FIRs against them for allegedly forcing the petitioner into a compromise with a party suspected of gunning down the petitioner’s brothers. Muhammad Shabbir filed the petition through his counsel Advocate Farhad Ali Shah.
He said that Inspector Azam Minhas and Sub Inspectors Malik Mushtaq and Nasir Khan had conducted the initial investigation into his brother’s murder. Shabbir submitted that the respondents had raided his house on December 19 along with other police officials and two people of the accused party and threatened him. He said that the respondents had raided the house of co-petitioner Muhammad Saleem Subhani Chohan the same day, asking him to compromise with suspects. He prayed the court to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners and requested that FIRs be registered against the respondents.
