Wales have been named Best Mover of the Year after they gained a total of 330 points in the Fifa world rankings during 2011. The team, managed by Gary Speed until his untimely death last month, rose from 116th at the close of 2010 to 48th as a result of an eventful Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, including wins over Montenegro, Switzerland and Bulgaria. Meanwhile, Spain won the Team of the Year title for the fourth consecutive time as they finished top of the standings ahead of Holland and Germany.
