Selfless Services: Room named after Asma Kanwal
Room has been named after the nurse who died after contracting dengue virus while treating patients.

The common room at the Lahore General Hospital Nursing Hostel has been named after Asma Kanwal, the nurse who died after contracting dengue virus while treating patients. Kanwal’s pictures have also been hanged in every classroom. The nursing school principal, Ishrat Ishaque, said that the steps had been taken to pay tribute to Kanwal’s selfless services. Ishaque said that the school was also going to introduce an Asma Kanwal Annual Award which would be given to the best performing second year student.
