Research Work: Faisalabad university to collaborate
University will provide its educational training - research facility, NIBAF will collaborate in research projects.
FAISALABAD:
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday inked two memoranda of understanding with the National Institute of Banking and Finance, Islamabad (NIBAF) and Green Circle Organisation to collaborate in areas of research, training and biogas production. NIBAF, a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan, is involved in capacity building and human development in the area of banking and allied subjects. Under the MOU, the university will provide its educational training and research facility while NIBAF will collaborate in research projects at the varsity. The second MoU was related to collaboration in installing a biogas plant and organic farming. The university’s Department of Livestock is providing professional training for increase in animal production and is maintaining 200 farms.
