Cpsp Milestones: 35th annual conference begins
Pathology was essential in understanding the processes and management of diseases

The 35th annual and 5th International Conference of Pakistan Association of Pathologists was inaugurated at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) on Friday. Highlighting the importance of pathology, said the CPSP president, Prof. Zafarullah Chuadhry. Pathology was essential in understanding the processes and management of diseases, he said. Chaudhry added that this discipline remains the focus of all research studies and technological advancements. The CPSP also offers a fellowship programme in all six recognised disciplines of histopathology, microbiology, haematology, chemical pathology, immunology, virology and MCPS programme in clinical pathology.
