Sent To Prison: Woman terrorist remanded till Dec 23

Sabiha Khatoon allegedly confessed her complicity in a number of terrorist attacks.

Sabiha Khatoon, an alleged member of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and widow of Qari Shahid Khan, was remanded to the physical custody of investigators till Dec 23 by Justice Faisal Arab of High Court of Sindh here on Friday.


Sabiha who was arrested after her husband was killed with three other accomplices in an alleged encounter with a joint raiding party of Anti Violence and Crime Cell and Citizen Police Liaison Committee during an operation for the recovery of a trader who was kidnapped for ransom.

Sabiha Khatoon allegedly confessed her complicity in a number of terrorist attacks and even of planting a bomb in Karachi University in Dec 2010.

Producing the accused woman before the court today, the investigators requested for physical custody for further interrogation and arrests of other suspected Taliban.

The Judge ordered her to be in physical custody of investigators till December 23.
