Drug Peddling: Two arrested, narcotics seized

ANF recovered 2.4 kgs of hashish, two SMG rifles, two repeaters, seven pistols and 8,700 bullets of various types.

FAISALABAD:
The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday arrested two drug dealers and recovered narcotics and weapons in large quantity from them. An ANF officer said that an unidentified caller informed them about the two men, who were smuggling narcotics and weapons from Peshawar to Faisalabad. He said the ANF set up a picket near Sahianwala Interchange and checked suspected vehicles on Motorway 3. The ANF recovered 2.4 kilogrammes of hashish, two SMG rifles, one rifle, two repeaters, seven pistols and 8,700 bullets of various types. He said these items were hidden in secrete chambers in the truck and in an empty CNG cylinder. Those arrested were identified as Inam Khan Afghani, 45, a resident of Peshawar Cantt and Salman Khan Afghani, 22, a resident of Bara Road, Peshawar.
