Football: Four-star Jadeed rocks Police
Afghan FC win 6-0, PAF and NBP involved in stalemate.
KARACHI:
Captain Jadeed Khan scored four as Afghan FC registered a resounding 6-0 win over Police at the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) clash in Chaman.
The winners took control of the match right from the start and took an early lead via Abdul Hadi in the sixth minute. However, it was Jadeed who wreaked havoc in Police’s defences as he scored four successive goals to put the result beyond doubt.
He completed his hat-trick by scoring in the 13th, 50th and 56th minute and added his fourth in the 65th. Mehaaz Khan sealed the riot by adding Afghan FC’s sixth in the 77th minute.
Meanwhile, the other match between PAF and NBP in Islamabad finished goal-less.
Navy will take on KPT at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad today.
