25 die as bus plunges into Kashmir river
25 people were killed in Indian Held Kashmir after an overcrowded bus skidded off a mountain road and fell in a river.

At least 25 people were killed in occupied Kashmir after an overcrowded minibus skidded off a mountain road and plunged into a fast flowing river.
The accident occurred late Friday in Kishtiwar district, south of the summer capital, Srinagar. A police spokesman said that two people are in the hospital after being injured in the accident. The spokesman explained that the bus fell into the flooded Chenab river and disappeared.
Poor road conditions, congested vehicles and inadequate maintenance have made such bus accidents a common occurence in the area.
