As many as 100 students of Government Model High School, Khanewal, will be trained in Civil Defence in a 10-day course beginning on Wednesday (today). The course will conclude on December 24. Participants will attend lectures and participate in mock fire fighting exercises. They will be educated on the proper use of fire fighting equipment and taught precautionary measures. The participants will also be trained in undertaking rescue operations and providing first aid during emergencies.
